How It Works
Consumers
Upload your images to us using either the single file upload tool or download our Java application for larger, multiple file uploads. Once uploaded, you have the option of requesting both descriptive or people tagging. Descriptive tags is used to identify objects within the photo and can include such abstract tags such as human emotions. People tagging requires you to upload pictures of individuals and associate tags to that person. The images are then uploaded along with a generic tagging template to our worker network, such as Amazon's Mechanical Turk™. Once the job has been accepted and completed by the worker, the job is submitted back to Tagcow.com for quality review check. After the quality check has been completed, the images are released to your account for download. Our target is 24-48 hours for the entire process to be completed once the images have been submitted. If you maintain your images on repositories, such as Flickr™, you may choose to associate your account credentials allowing copies of your images to be automatically pulled down, tagged and uploaded back to your repository.View our tagging demo to see how Tagcow.com can help you find those lost memories today!
Enterprise
Enterprise customers require customized tagging solutions. Although the enterprise process utilizes much of the same tagging infrastructure as the consumer market, there are several distinct differences. First, we work with each business individually to identify your specific tagging needs. Once we are satisfied that we understand the business need, we work together with you to build a taxonomy and a template to efficiently capture high quality tags for any size image repository; small or large. We are also capable of handling large volumes of image tag requests on an on demand basis. Upon entering the process development phase, we typically perform at least three quality control tests to validate that our service meets your specific needs prior to starting any production work. If you have specific privacy needs for your images, we can offer closed worker networks or even access to our API if you are looking to integrate our services into your existing business processes directly.
